DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police found almost six-and-a-half pounds of marijuana in the trunk of a car pulled over for a traffic stop on Interstate 69 Monday night.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy stopped a southbound Honda Civic at the 334 mile marker, near the exit for Kendallville and Waterloo, at about 7:15pm. During the stop, a police dog alerted officers to drugs in the car’s trunk.

Police found several large bags of marijuana. The driver, whose name was not provided by police, was detained on drug dealing charges.
