Train Death Accidental Coroner Says

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner has confirmed 66-year old Paul Larson of New Haven was killed as a result of blunt force trauma when he was struck by a train this weekend in New Haven.

Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, authorities found Larson's body and his motorized wheelchair near Landin Road and Rose Avenue after being struck. 

According to those on the train, the wheelchair was stopped at the crossing, but the victim did not respond to the trains lights or horn. 

The death has been officially ruled accidental.
