Trials Set for 2 Charged with Killing 19-Year-Old

BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) — Trial dates have been set for the two southwest Indiana men accused of killing a 19-year-old woman whose body was found in a rural lake with a 20-pound weight tied to it.

The Herald-Times reports 26-year-old Jordan Buskirk is scheduled to go on trial February 3rd and 25-year-old Randal Crosley is scheduled to go on trial March 3rd. Both Jasonville men have pleaded not guilty to felony charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit rape and criminal confinement in the death of Katelyn Wolfe of Linton.

The prosecution and defense in both cases have agreed that juries should be selected from outside Greene County because of pretrial attention the cases have received.

Crosley and Buskirk are being held without bond at the Greene County Jail.
