Two Arrested After Police Discover Meth in Silver Lake Home

SILVER LAKE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people have been arrested after officers discovered a meth lab at a home in Silver Lake. Around 6 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a home on S. School Ave., after receiving an anonymous tip regarding the potential location of an active warrant suspect.

When they arrived to the scene, they found wanted subject, 21-year-old Ashton Krider, and he was immediately arrested. Officers noticed the strong odor commonly associated with the production of meth in the home. They later found items associated with meth production, along with finished meth hidden inside a kitchen oven.

Another individual, 23-year-old Cheyenne Miller, was also at the residence and taken into custody.
