ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two former Elkhart County Corrections officers are now facing charges in two separate investigations

The first case is an investigation into an alleged sexual relationship between corrections officer Adrian Long and a female inmate. Since that investigation, Long has resigned and turned himself into police and is facing sexual misconduct charges.

The second case involves former officer Aaron VanDeKeere. He is now facing charges for allegedly smuggling contraband into the prison and passing it to prisoners. He got caught when he made multiple buys from undercover officers. His charges include multiple counts of trafficking with an inmate.
