Two hurt in shooting at Fort Wayne restaurant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A shooting at a Fort Wayne restaurant left two people in critical condition this morning.

The Fort Wayne Police Department tells our Partners in News at ABC 21 it happened at about 9:15am at Link’s Wonderland on Creighton Avenue, near S. Anthony Blvd.

When officers arrived they found one man in the parking lot, and another inside the restaurant, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were hospitalized.

Five people were inside the restaurant when the shooting broke out, and police are hoping to learn more from them.

Witnesses report there was only one suspect, and described him as a black man. No other information has been released at this time.
