MARION, Ind. (WOWO): A Grant County man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after molesting and impregnating a 10-year-old girl.

34-year-old Nicholas Thrash of Marion was sentenced Thursday to 160 years in jail, with a minimum sentence of 132 years, according to Fox News.

He was arrested in May 2017 and found guilty of 10 counts of child molestation last month.

The girl’s mother is also charged with neglect, aiding in child molesting, and assisting a criminal. Police say she told the girl to lie and say a classmate got her pregnant.

The girl, now 12, gave birth to a boy a year ago.
