Tyler Eifert Joing WOWO Penny Pitch

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): WOWO Radio 1190AM/92.3FM is proud to announce the addition of Tyler Eifert to this years Penny Pitch charity fundraising campaign.  The former Bishop Dwenger football standout, second team All-American tight end for Notre Dame and now Cincinnati Bengal announced his involvement with Penny Pitch this morning on Fort Wayne’s Morning News with Charly Butcher.  Tyler said this morning “I’m happy to help.  Fort Wayne’s been good to me.  It’s the least I can do.”

WOWO Penny Pitch was created over 60 years ago as a charity fundraiser focused on individuals in need.  It has since progressed to help local non-profit organizations that keep their charity efforts in the Fort Wayne community.  In 2013, WOWO Radio raised over $75,000 for the Ronald McDonald House at Parkview, and they’re goal is to raise even more for another local charity.

Any non-profit organization that would like to be considered for the 2013 Penny Pitch campaign are encouraged to fill out an application found in the features section of our webpage.  All applications need to be submitted before September 30th, 2013.
