UPDATE: 1,000 I&M Customers Remain Without Power

INDIANA, (WOWO): About 1,000 I&M customers remain without power after Sunday's storm. The power company says all customers should have power up and running by 11:00 tonight. The Michigan area, South Bend, North central LaPorte County, and Marion areas are the only areas that still have customers without power.

Michigan area

100 percent of Michigan customers will be restored by 11 p.m. Thursday.  

 

  • Benton Harbor area: 26 customers
  • Three Rivers area: Fully restored
  • Buchanan area: 59 customers
  • New Buffalo area: 389 customers


South Bend area

     100% restored

 

North central LaPorte County 

    100% restored by 11 p.m. Thursday

     71 customers without power

 

Marion area

Less than 500 customers without power

 

100% restored by noon Thursday:

  • Gas City 
  • Van Buren
  • West Van Buren   
  • Central Marion

     

100% restored by 4 p.m. Thursday:

  • Remainder of Marion
