UPDATE: Active Meth Lab Found Inside Swinney Avenue Home

FORT WAYNE,Ind. (WOWO): Two kids were removed from a Swinney Avenue home after police found an active meth lab.


Officers were serving a search warrant for a wanted suspect around 9:00 a.m., Thursday morning, that's when they found the meth lab. Holly Jen was taken into custody at the scene and is facing the following charges:

 

1.       Manufacturing Methamphetamine (Felony)

2.       Possession of Two (2) or More Precursors (Felony)

3.       Dumping Controlled Substance  Waste (Felony)

4.       Neglect of a Dependent (Felony)

5.       Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Felony)

6.       Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)

7.       Possession of Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)


The residence was condemned by the Board of Health and the two children were placed into foster care. This is the 24th Meth Lab Investigation conducted by the Fort Wayne Police Department this year.
