UPDATE: Assault on Purdue Campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWO): Purdue University police say a student was slightly injured by two men who attacked him near one of the campus' lecture halls. Sgt. Song Kang says the male student was walking to his dorm around 3:40 A.M. this morning when two men attack him from behind near Purdue's Class of 1950 Lecture Hall. The student said the men punched him and possibly struck him with a knife or some other sharp object. Kang says the student was bruised and scratched but declined medical treatment. He says the student fought back during the attack and possibly hurt one of the men. Campus police are looking for the two men, who ran after the attack.
