FORT WAYNE,Ind. (WOWO): Authorities have confirmed the shooting death of a 34-year old man Wednesday is homicide.

Medical examiners have confirmed that Hilario Segura died from gun shot wounds.

Around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to police, Segura was struck by a bullet in his home on South Hanna as he was putting his children to bed.

He was not believed to have been an intended target of the shooting.
