INDIANA, (WOWO): The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for northern Indiana from 7:00 p.m. Friday evening until 7:00 p.m. Saturday night.

Hoosiers can expect to see snow stretching from southwest to northeast Indiana Friday night, with snowfall increasing through early Saturday afternoon.

Total accumulations of five to eight inches are expected by early Saturday evening.

Roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardous Friday night and the dangerous roadways will continue into Saturday. Visibility will be reduced to less than one quarter mile with the heavy snow.
