Woman and Baby Injured in Two Car Crash

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  A mother and her infant daughter are in stable condition after a crash Monday morning in Kosciusko County.

The crash happened around 6:45 a.m., at the intersection of County Farm Road and 400 South where police arrived to find a car on its roof with 18-year-old Keisha DeWesse and her 3-month-old daughter inside. Crews had to remove them from the vehicle and airlift the two to a nearby hospital.

The crash happened when 36-year-old Jennifer Miller ran a stop sign and hit their car. Miller originally told police she was a passenger in the vehicle and that the driver ran off. However, upon further investigation, it was determined that she was in fact the driver. She is now facing charges of false informing and being a habitual offender.
