Woodburn Woman Seriously Injured in New Haven Crash

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): A 59-year-old Woodburn woman suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized as a result of a two vehicle crash Friday night in New Haven. 


Around 9:30 p.m., Joanne Bradtmueller was driving northbound on Entrance Drive near SR 930 when she allegedly ran through a stop sign. Bradtmueller’s vehicle entered SR 930 and into the path of an eastbound semi tractor driven by 45-year-old Nigel Dawkins of Marlton, New Jersey. 

Bradtmueller’s vehicle was struck broadside by the semi, and even though she was wearing her seatbelt, she suffered multiple broken bones and internal injuries. She was transported to a hospital and her condition is not known at this time. Dawkins, who was also wearing his seatbelt, was not injured. 

This crash remains under investigation.
