WOWO to present Penny Pitch 2017 check at Komets game Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – WOWO will wrap up Penny Pitch 2017 at the Fort Wayne Komets game this Saturday, Feb. 17.

The 2017 recipient was The Shepherd’s House, which provides temporary housing for homeless military veterans living with addictions.

WOWO raised more than $176,000 for the non-profit during the radiothon on December 14 and 15, and continued to accept donations through December 31.

On December 19, Ruoff Home Mortgage donated another $25,000.

The Shepherd’s House managers Kenny and Tracey Barr and founders Barb and Lonnie Cox will accept the Penny Pitch check on Saturday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
