ZZ Top Returning to Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): ZZ TOP is returning to Fort Wayne for the first time in 7 years. The “little ol' band from Texas” will perform on October 8th. Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 4th, at 8:00 A.M.

Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard have toured and recorded together since 1969, a record-setting 45 years for a major band to retain their original lineup.

Known for blues rock songs including “La Grange,” “Tush,” “Legs” and “Sharp Dressed Man,” ZZ Top was inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.

You can buy tickets on-line at www.foellingertheatre.org, by calling 260-427-6000, visiting the Parks & Recreation Department office at 705 E. State Blvd., Mon – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, or visiting any of the three Wooden Nickel Records stores in Fort Wayne. Ticket prices are $49 – $99.
