Upset Vets Meet About VA Medical Center

Some unhappy veterans got together yesterday in New Haven, to vent about what they say is the V-A’s failure properly explain why inpatient care was suspended at its Fort Wayne hospital.  The Journal Gazette said, about 50 people attended the town hall, conducted by national American Legion officials, who are planning a visit the center.  A V-A representative was at the meeting but didn’t speak. The V-A  said back in late October that it was temporarily halting inpatient care at the center for purposes of improving procedures and “bettering veteran care.”
