SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WOWO) — Court documents revealed that in December 2023, Juan Aquino, 53, was stopped on the Indiana Toll Road while transporting four kilograms of cocaine concealed in hidden compartments of his vehicle.

The drugs had been obtained in Colorado and were en route to New Jersey.

At the time of his arrest, Aquino was already awaiting the start of a 63-month federal prison sentence for distributing and conspiring to distribute fentanyl.
