Slick Conditions Arrive Tonight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Hazardous driving conditions begin later tonight as freezing rain arrives around 7 pm tonight and is expected to make dangerous road conditions overnight.

Expect school delays and travel issues for the start of the day tomorrow.

As reported by our partners in news at 21ALIVE, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 pm tonight until 10 am tomorrow.

Spotty freezing rain showers begin tonight and will ramp up closer to midnight.

Widespread freezing rain is expected to create multiple slick spots on the roads throughout the first few hours on Thursday.

Precipitation should depart by 7 am and with temperatures warming expect to see improving road conditions throughout the late morning and early afternoon.
