ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO) — City officials, fire department personnel, and community members came together to celebrate at the property on Ada Drive.

The new fire department will replace the old Fire Station 6.

City leaders say the new station reflects our ongoing commitment to public safety-especially in the northeast quadrant-by enhancing fire protection services.

The project is expected to be finished by next September.
