Braun On Utilities

Indiana US Senator Mike Braun

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Governor Mike Braun is stepping up against rising utility bills, saying Hoosiers can’t handle more rate hikes.

He just appointed Abby Gray as the new head of the Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor.

Braun wants the office to review utility profits closely and find ways to cut costs-putting more pressure on investors, so everyday customers don’t keep footing the bill.

In addition to utility costs rising, how about dropping the gas tax to help out. We are well above most surrounding states.
