Man Arrested After Shaving to Conceal Identity

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Police have arrested a Fort Wayne man who allegedly robbed a Walgreens store and then shaved his beard to conceal his identity.  21-year-old Joshua Dixon went into the store on Stellhorn near Maplecrest on Monday evening.  He went to the counter as if to make a purchase and then demanded that the cashier hand over the money in the register.  The cashier believed Dixon was concealing a handgun.  After the alleged robbery, Dixon went into a nearby Target store and shaved and changed clothes.  He was arrested yesterday and charged with robbery.  He was being held without bail in the Allen County Jail.
