911 Hang-Up Leads to Meth Arrests

A recent 911 call was placed to the Miami County dispatch, but the caller hung up before a dispatcher answered. So, police went to the area, saw an open front door, and smelled burnt marijuana from the home. Children in the house admitted calling 911. Police searched the home and found marijuana, meth, items for making meth, hypodermic needles, and drug paraphernalia. April Vermilya and Samantha Ray, residents of the home, were arrested and taken to the Miami County Jail. Jeremy Goshert, a visitor to the home, was also arrested. All three face drug charges.
