Armed Robbery Lands Elkhart Woman Federal Prison Sentence

FORT WAYNE, IND. (WOWO) Undrea House, 29, of Elkhart, has been sentenced to 85 months in federal prison for robbing a bank and brandishing a firearm during the crime.

Court documents indicate that in August 2024, House entered a bank, pointed a loaded handgun at an employee, and stole more than $1,000 in cash. Police located and arrested her later that day at her apartment.

The case underscores the federal consequences of armed robbery, particularly when a firearm is involved.
