City Issues 72-Hour Notice Of Homeless Encampment Cleanup

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The City of Fort Wayne has issued a 72-hour notice that a homeless encampment will be cleaned up.

Cleanup will be happening on Monday at the encampment that has overrun onto the Rivergreen Trail under the Veterans Memorial Brudge on Spy Run Ave. 

Mayor Sharon Tucker has announced plans to prioritize building additional shelters and resources for people without homes. 

As of Christmas day, cleanup efforts were already underway.
