Right to Life March 2026

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – North East Indiana’s Right to Life March was January 31st at Parkview Field. They had a wonderful turn out with everyone from families to church members in attendance.

Many of our Allen County representatives, including State Senator Liz Brown and Sheriff Troy Hershberger, as well as lawmakers from surrounding counties made an appearance to help the cause of preserving life.

The day began with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. Pro-life advocates say marches continue after the fall of Roe v. Wade because abortion has not ended but shifted, with chemical abortions via pills now the most common method, leaving what organizers describe as ongoing pressure and pain for women and a continued need for advocacy for mothers and children. Supporters from across Northeast Indiana are set to gather for the annual Northeast Indiana March for Life, held near the anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court decision, to unite people of all ages in affirming the dignity and value of human life from conception to natural death.
