ANGOLA, Ind. (AP) _ A man charged with killing a romantic rival more than two decades ago in northeastern Indiana has made his initial court appearance on charges of murder, intimidation and four counts of theft and burglary. 
 
  The Angola Herald Republican reports Steuben County Magistrate Randy Coffey entered a not guilty plea for 47-year-old Mahfuz Huq on Thursday. He was extradited last week from India two years after being arrested while traveling from his native Bangladesh.
 
  Huq is charged in the 1989 fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Todd Kelley at his home in Hamilton, about 30 miles north of Fort Wayne.
 
  Defense attorney Linda Wagoner says the length of time between Kelley's death and the trial could work in favor of the defense.
 
  Coffey set a Dec. 9 trial date.
