FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Flames broke out Wednesday afternoon at a mobile home around 3:30 p.m., on West Washington Center Road.

Fire crews arrived on the scene and quickly began fighting the flames at 2737 W. Washington Center Road., Lot 219.

One person escaped the blaze, but suffered burns on an arm. No other injuries were reported.

Approximately 5 family pets may have died in the fire and the home was a total loss.

As of right now, the Red Cross is helping seven family members and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
