Retailer with Fort Wayne Store to Cut Jobs Nationally

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WOWO): A national retailer with a Fort Wayne store is cutting thousands.

Macy's announced Wednesday they'll trim about 2,500 jobs as it reorganizes. Macy's has a store at Fort Wayne's Glenbrook Square. No word if cuts are coming to the local store.

The company says they'll close five stores and open eight others. Macy's says they'll save $100 million a year with the move. No stores in Indiana are scheduled to be closed.
