FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One of the most historic buildings in Fort Wayne will be opening their doors to celebrate the holidays.

The Castle in Brookside will be holding their annual holiday celebration “Christmas at the Castle” starting on Friday, December 5th. It's an event put on the University of Saint Francis at the Bass Mansion, the 24,000 square-foot home that belonged to John Henry Bass, a wealthy industrialist.

The open hours include:

Friday, December 5: 4 – 6 pm
Saturday, December 6: 12 – 5 pm
Sunday, December 7: 12 – 5 pm
Monday, December 8: 4 – 5 pm
Wednesday, Dec. 10: Noon -5 p.m., Senior Day at the Castle
