ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County property tax bills will be hitting mailboxes in the near future.

Chief Deputy Treasurer William Royce says property tax bills will be mailed Friday and are due on May 11th.

Both the spring and fall remittance coupons are included in the bill.

To avoid the long lines at the Treasurer's office, taxpayers are encouraged to pay early.

New this year, if you're paying by check, you can phone in the payment for free by dialing 1-877-690-3729 with jurisdiction code 7693.
