INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Paul George had 23 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds yesterday as the Indiana Pacers beat the Atlanta Hawks 107-90 in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference series. George Hill added 18 points for the Pacers, who opened a playoff series with a win for the first time since 2006. Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 21 points.
