D-League Has Record-Breaking Season

NEW YORK, May 1, 2013 – The NBA Development League had a record breaking 12

th season that included all-time marks for total NBA player assignments (184) and NBA D-League alumni competing in the NBA (132).

Additionally, the 2012-13 NBA D-League season saw an all-time high 11 NBA teams owning or operating their minor league affiliate, including first-time singly-affiliated relationships between the Boston Celtics and Maine Red Claws, and the Portland Trail Blazers and Idaho Stampede.
