TV series to track lives of parole officers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A new television series premiering next week will follow the lives of nine Indiana parole officers and their parolees.

The Indiana Department of Correction and TV One says the show called “Parole Diaries” will debut Wednesday on the cable channel.

The 13-episode Towers Productions series will follow the officers and their clients through random drug tests, surprise home visits and other procedures.

The corrections agency and TV One officials say each episode will follow three parole officers from the Indianapolis Parole District and their clients, including sex offenders, convicted murderers and drug addicts who are trying to turn their lives around.
