Financial Gap

The gap between the haves and have nots has grown more in our state than all but 5 other states in the country.  The study by an economic think tanks shows that in the 2000’s the financial gap between the poorest in the our state and the richest in our state is 8 times higher.  The report also shows that Indiana was one of the 7 states where the average income of the poorest households fell over the past three decades.
