Indiana Lawmakers Meeting Today

Indiana’s lawmakers are meeting to prepare for a jam-packed 2013 session that will begin in earnest in January.  Members of the Indiana House and State Senate plan to meet today for their organization day,” the technical start of their next session. However, they’re not scheduled to return until January, when they will work on the state’s next two-year budget, implementing the federal health care law and other priorities including education and jobs programs.
