INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO):  State Representative Casey Cox (R-Fort Wayne) was sworn in this afternoon to serve House District 85. He will fulfill the remaining term of the late State Representative Phyllis Pond who passed away in September after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Rep. Cox was joined at the ceremony by his wife, Melissa, and his two children.

“I am very humbled to serve Hoosiers in this capacity,” said Rep. Cox. “Being given the chance to serve in the State Legislature is a very unique opportunity. I look forward to engaging in policy discussions, learning from other legislators and working tirelessly for the people of my district.”
