GOP Presidential Hopefuls Met with Donors on Sly

MADISON, Wis. (AP): Far from public scrutiny, Republican presidential hopefuls and high-powered donors met last month at a five-star resort in Georgia to discuss the midterm elections, foreign policy and the economy. Other national political and business leaders attended the event sponsored by the think tank the American Enterprise Institute. Details of the event were revealed this week by the Center for Public Integrity. It obtained a copy of the event program and other materials.
