UPDATE: Indiana Senate Passes Bill to Shorten ISTEP+ Test

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Senate has approved legislation backing the steps to cut the time students will need for taking the state's ISTEP+ test this year.


Indiana House members voted 94-0 Monday in favor of the bill. Testing time would be reduced from 12 hours to 9 hours.


The measure then went to the Indiana Senate. Members agreed to pass the bill 50 – 0. It now moves to Governor Mike Pence. His signature is needed for the measure to become law. That could happened as early as today.
