NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) — A southern Indiana county clerk says election officials have begun a “systematic review” of what caused a software glitch that created delays and long lines of voters on Election Day.

Floyd County Clerk Christy Eurton says the county election board that includes herself is reviewing what caused the November 4th delays that some voters said left them waiting in line for more than an hour before they could vote.

The News and Tribune reports the review will include an analysis of the software and equipment failures as well as interviews with voters, poll workers, vendors and other personnel.

An Election Day computer reboot glitch delayed the opening at five of the Ohio River county's 11 polling sites. The affected computer terminals had previously been used for early voting.
