Body Found in SW Indiana Cornfield Set for Autopsy

SULLIVAN, Ind. (AP) – Police in southwestern Indiana are investigating a body found in a cornfield.

Indiana State Police say a farmer harvesting corn a few miles northeast of Sullivan located the body Tuesday afternoon.

Due to the condition of the body, investigators have been unable to determine the person's sex or age.  An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Sullivan is about 25 miles south of Terre Haute.
