INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indiana's attorney general and state lawmakers are expected to propose tighter regulations and new taxes on electronic cigarettes in a bill that the General Assembly will consider during the session that begins next week. 

Attorney General Greg Zoeller (ZEHL'-ur) has scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference at the Statehouse with lawmakers and others announce legislation addressing the rise in e-cigarette use among youths.

The sale of e-cigarettes to minors is already illegal in Indiana, but Zoeller is concerned the federal government hasn't done enough to regulate the battery-powered devices that allows users to inhale nicotine.
