Boyfriend Arrested After Woman’s Body Found Near Preserve

NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (AP) _ An Indianapolis man has been arrested after his girlfriend's body was found in a central Indiana nature preserve.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department said Friday that 61-year-old Billy Paschal faces a felony charge of moving a body from a scene in a violent or suspicious death and a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of failing to report a dead body.

It's not clear how 62-year-old Theodosia Regina Queen died. A passerby discovered her body Thursday near the Jacob Schramm Nature Preserve about 15 miles east of Indianapolis. Preliminary autopsy results haven't uncovered any trauma to her body or a medical condition.

Capt. Jeff Rasche didn't elaborate on why Paschal was arrested.

It wasn't immediately clear if Paschal has an attorney who might comment on his behalf.
