SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): Police arrested a Syracuse man Monday after he allegedly battered his wife. 

27 year old Henry Blake Ford was arrested Monday night after allegedly kicking his wife off of the bed on July 7th, causing her to hit her head on the corner of the table. She stated that he then grabbed her and slapped her numerous times. 

Ford and the victim were reportedly having a discussion at his residence the following day when he became angry and violent again. A police report says he first hit her several times in the face, then when she fell to the floor, allegedly kicked her in the side and choked her. 

Ford was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on a domestic battery charge.
