Suspect Photos Released in New Haven Bank Robbery Attempt

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): Police continue to search for clues in an attempted bank robbery Friday afternoon at Chase Bank in New Haven.

Just before 5 p.m., the suspect approached a teller in the Lincoln Highway branch with a note demanding cash. But, left empty handed, for undisclosed reasons.

Authorities say he did not display a weapon and no one was harmed.

He's described as a white man standing about 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1 weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing a tan ball cap and sunglasses with a long sleeve flannel shirt and long pants. He's believed to be in his late 20's or early 30s.

Witnesses he made off in a black Chevy Impala.
