FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The teams 23rd sell out of the year at Parkview Field was on hand to see the TinCaps honored by Ballpark Digest. 

Each year, the publication honors baseball organizations at all levels.  Readers nominate their favorite in specific categories, and the TinCaps were named the 2014 Team of the Year in Minor League Baseball, as well as boasting the Best New Food Item in Minor League Baseball.  

Publisher Kevin Reichard was on hand for the special ceremony before the game, however it wasn't enough for the win, as the team lost to eh Lake County Captains 5-4 after a 42-minute rain delay.
