FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Every Feb. 2. Punxsutawney Phil comes out of hibernation to predict the arrival of spring.

According to the folklore, if the groundhog sees it’s shadow and retreats back into its burrow then we will have winter weather for the next six weeks. But, if it doesn’t see its shadow spring will come early.
