FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police busted their 30th meth lab of the year Thursday night.

According to an FWPD press release, officers teamed up with the Indiana State Police to follow up on a tip in the 3300 block of Merrimack at around 7 p.m.

When they arrived at the home they found precursors used to make methamphetamine lying around in plain view. After getting a search warrant they found two active meth labs, meth, meth precursors, drug paraphernalia and other narcotics.

36-year-old John Hapner III, the only occupant of the home, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of two or more chemical precursors.
