Man critical after early-morning Fort Wayne shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man in critical condition.

According to Officer Jason Anthony, a man was dropped off at a local hospital just before 3 a.m. Friday with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was immediately transported to another hospital for treatment and is still in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle that brought him to the hospital left before police could arrive.

Officers currently don’t know where the shooting happened, and they’re hoping to learn more once they’re able to interview the victim.
